More Search Engines
More Places I Received Information From
YouTube and my usb are two more things I used to collect information, images etc for all of my evaluation questions.
My usb had all of the images of our music video, my advert and also my digipak.
Search Engines
Information Sources
Google.com and Bing.com are the main search engines I used when I was gathering information, getting images etc. for my evaluation questions. For example, I collected the pictures of the technologies I used from Google rather than taking individual picture of all of them.

Target Audience Extra
Our Target Audience
This image shows an example of the target audience my group and I chose to pick. Our audience is all young people but mainly females. This is because we thought that females are more likely to be attracted to this genre of music videos. This may sounds slightly sexist since we said it should be mainly for girls because they sometimes seem more in touch with their sensitive side more than men; but it is just something that is true so this is how we came to make this decision.

Examples...
Examples of backs of CDs
In a previous post ("where I got my ideas") I mentioned that the back of Trey Songz CD had a layout that was not common. In the above slideshow you will see examples of more CD-backs which proves my point about Trey Songz having a unique CD.

Finished advert
Above, you will see an image of my finished advert. But, as you can see, the record labels have not been placed yet. So after that has been completed it will be completely finished.
Where I got certain ideas from e.g writing styles
Influence
The Trey Songz CDs is where I got the inspiration to lay out the back of my digipak from.
As you can see, the bar code and further information is on the far left side of the CD, the lyrics have been placed across near the bottom, the record labels are at the very bottom along with the producers and executive producer (Trey Songz) and there is also copyrighting information right under the record labels.
I imitated quite a few of things from this CD including the lyrics layout; but later on I decided that I wanted to make it look less like Trey Songz CD and more like my own. For this reason, I slightly changed the position of the lyrics on my own product.
The bar code and CD information angle/layout is another aspect of this CD that I adapted; I thought that it was a very good idea to use this since this angle of writing isn't usually used for many or hardly any CDs.
Finished Digipak (1st draft)
First Drafts
This image displays my finished front and back cover of my digipak. The inspiration I used in order to complete the back half of my digipak was taken from one of Trey Songz's CD covers (this will be shown in a later blog).
This was one of the most recent inside parts of my digipak that I have done but since then, I have altered it much more and added more things to it such as a different picture and more writing.

Decision on album name
Different Words We Could Have Chosen...
We typed in "Alone" into thesaurus.com because we wanted to come up with a synonym for the word so it will suit the theme of our music video. We chose "Solo" out of all of these words because, as a group, we all Favorited this the best.

Final mock up of advertisement
Final Advertisement Mock Up
This image shows the final mock up of my advertisement. Just like the digipak, I will make a few alterations to it. For example, this mock up was done on an A4 sheet, but for my final product this will be done on an A5 piece of paper which will allow me to space out the information.
Using an A5 sheet will also allow me to add in a picture of the front cover of my digipak, which is what I intended to do but wasn't able to.
1st day of digipak mock up - on sheet
In-class mock up of digipak
These two images show the mock-up of the digipak I will soon be making; to help the production process easier for me, I made notes all around the sheet so I would know exactly where I will be positioning everything I will be putting on my digipak, what colours I'll use etc.
