This is Adele's debut album. The theme colours are black and white because it fits in with the theme colours of her number one hit "Someone like you".
The facial expression usually tells you what type of songs you are going to find in the album and she has quite a emotional facial expression meaning that the songs on the album are going to be mostly emotional or sad songs.
The inside of the digipak (as you can see in the video) case is black inside showing the lack of happy emotion but gives connotations of the fact that it is not the artist that is important or her features as such but her music and lyrics that is important.
The green CD links in with the "21" that is at the front of the album cover. Therefore their is a visual link between the two.
The album has a two colour scheme and a black and white house colour which is obviously and clearly sticking to the digipak conventions.
The Font is not too stylish but plain and simple suggesting that even the title of the songs are important and have meaning because everyone is meant to be able to read the songs they want and can see it properly.
