This first magazine advertisement is for Chris Brown...
Although Chris Brown is extremely well known for his multi-talents, he still has a very clear image of himself on the front page with a clear font also.
His name is a prominent display at the very top of this advert right next to his face where it would be even more obvious to see.
The advert displays some of the song titles in his album and some of the artists that are also featuring along side him.
The audience can clearly see that the album is now in store because it is written in a large font; there is also information on where else you are able to purchase his album from.
product information can be found at the very bottom of the advert in very small writing.
There is no image of the album cover because it is the exact same image as the one used for this advert.
This next magazine advertisement is for Gwen Stefani...
As shown above, even though the artists' name isn't that clear to read, she is still obvious to notice due to her fame over the years.
There is an image of the artist which is very clear, her album cover is placed on the bottom left side of the advert, there is a website at the bottom, obvious graphics and effects on her picture - the graphics are the same on the digipak aswell as the advertisement.
This last magazine advertisement is for Erika Jayne...
As already mentioned, this album has all the expected conventions such as clear image of the artist, picture of her album cover which has the same graphics as the advert, shows who the producer is, there are websites in clear writing at the bottom of the page and her record label is displayed above her name. Her name isn't in a clear font but because she is popular, it doesn't matter to the audience.
All of these relate to the genre and the audience because they are all r&b examples of artists so the conventions are expected to be the same as our finished product.
