Our final song choice has no original video. This is seen as an even bigger opportunity to engage with our own initiatives and come up with our own ideas for creating its ideal video. After listening to the song a few times we have been able to create a pitch without any guidance from " its original video".Most importantly, we have the intention of giving the song it own unique image from our perspectives. We have also thought very carefully about how the performer is to express herself in the video considering it being such an emotive video.
After listening to the lyrics of the song we thought that making the song an illustration(Andrew Goodwin's theory) would mean that we wouldn't be using our own initiatives to create as everything would be litteral so we chose to avoid using too much of it and rather more of amplification as it allows us to be a bit more explorative with our ideas.
The point of recreating a video shouldn't be what people are expecting to see after listening to the song but should suprise them in a way that makes them look at the song in a whole,complete different way.
